Residents of Lunenburg County are being asked to “Think Beyond Band-Aids”. This will be the first in a series of conversations to discuss the rising cost of food, lack of affordable, safe housing, poverty, and social isolation that is being felt by more and more people. The Bridgewater United Church and Lunenburg County Community Health Board have teamed up to provide a safe space to work together with members of the community to develop ongoing, sustainable solutions. Everyone is welcome on March 31st from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bridgewater Church for the first meeting. Refreshments and free onsite childcare will be available. If transportation is a barrier your expenses can be reimbursed.
